Solenoid Valve

Solenoid Valve

Solenoid valves are electromechanically operated valves used to control the flow of liquids or gases. Cixin Electromagnetic manufactures custom solenoid valves with tailored voltage, pressure ratings, and media compatibility for your specific application since 2011.

Key Features

  • Fast response time: Millisecond-level opening/closing for precise flow control
  • High reliability: Designed for millions of cycles in demanding applications
  • Custom voltage and pressure: Engineered to meet your exact specifications
  • Various media compatibility: Suitable for water, air, gas, oil, and more
  • Normally closed or normally open: Available in both configurations

Working Principle

Solenoid valves use an electromagnetic solenoid to actuate a valve mechanism. When current flows through the coil, it creates a magnetic field that pulls the plunger (armature), which in turn opens or closes the valve orifice. When power is removed, a spring returns the valve to its default position (normally closed or normally open).

Applications

Water & Fluid Control

Solenoid valves are widely used for water control in irrigation, water treatment, and household appliances like washing machines and dishwashers.

Air & Gas Control

Perfect for air compressors, pneumatic systems, gas shut-off valves, and HVAC systems.

Medical & Laboratory Equipment

Applied in medical devices, analyzers, and laboratory automation for precise fluid control and dispensing.

Industrial Automation

Used in industrial equipment for fluid power control, cooling systems, and process automation.

Types of Solenoid Valves

We manufacture various types of solenoid valves to meet different application requirements:

  • Direct-acting: The solenoid directly opens/closes the valve orifice. Suitable for small orifice sizes and low pressures.
  • Pilot-operated: Uses system pressure to assist valve operation. Suitable for larger orifice sizes and higher pressures.
  • Normally closed (NC): Valve closes when de-energized. Most common type.
  • Normally open (NO): Valve opens when de-energized. Used for fail-safe applications.
  • 2-way, 3-way, 4-way: Different port configurations for various flow control needs.

Customization Options

Cixin Electromagnetic offers full customization to meet your specific requirements:

  • Voltage: 6V, 12V, 24V, 48V DC; 110V, 220V AC (custom available)
  • Pressure rating: Up to 10 bar standard (higher on request)
  • Orifice size: 1mm to 50mm (custom available)
